I came to the US because Robert Rodriguez, who was a very unknown film director at the time, encouraged me to sell my car and with the proceeds of that sale to shoot some pilots. And as luck would have it, I sold my first series to Discovery Channel. So yes, so even things that I was definitely not an expert like sports, I became one. That's how I started my career as an independent producer in LA.
