Athletes are just better at oxidation to begin with. Hyperforming athletes probably are bouncing in and out of quetosis, right? You have post exercise quitosis just from the energy in depletion you get during exercise. So their bodies are probably used to seein keytones, using them as fuel. But if you take someone who's a real kito adapted fat burning like keytone machine, they tend to dispose of them very, very quickly.
