The Relationship Between Meditation and the Body

I have often had this experience in meditation where it feels like, and I think it's often introduced this way, it's the mind's attention, is a spotlight. And even if I was focused on the breath, it felt like me up there in the lighthouse, focusing on this distant body. We're not used to thinking about the body in those terms as having its own wisdom. So but meditation does open up the space for the possibility of listening to those parts. That can be the practice of listening to the wisdom of the breath or listening to the breaths, wakeful qualities, and let that take the lead.
