Karl: You have to let the data drive the narrative, rather than vice versa. Correlation and causation is an interesting one. It bothers me a lot less than it bothers a lot of people. Most of the studies i cover are either strong causal inferences where we're looking at, you know, long-term data or reversed causality. I think research methods take care that they don't just randomly assign some things to certain people. And so you now begin to estimate the effect of a variable on another variable.
