How to Make a Pink Astronaut T-Shirt
Jaya Iyer has a PhD in clothing merchandising. Her daughter wanted to be an astronaut, but there were no pink t-shirts for girls. Jaya raised $30,000 on Kickstarter and found a factory that would make the shirts. She then expanded her line with computer code,. test tubes and a solar system that glows in the dark.
