The Effectiveness of Mindfulness and Functional Breathing
A lot of people who had practiced mindfulness didn't stick with it and they found it frustrating. The effectiveness of something is only as effective when you put it into practice. We can't ignore the role of sleeping this, why not address our physiology first? So we might practice off just doing small breath tools for two seconds because I want to see how did they react to the feeling of suffocation or air hunger. And then we would look at sleep and let it very gently with this group and then bring in the awareness of the breath on my own.
