"I've gotten a lot out of writing for magazines, but even that is not beneficial to me in a lot of ways," he says. "You just get prestige, you just get a higher place with temple,. And like, i'm certaing to have real conversations ... If i just do a book every two years and just step out of this discourse, like, i'll still get paid."
