What Are the Outcomes of Vaccination?

We looked at two outcomes. The main outcome was simply whether or not you got vaccinated within 30 days of being messaged and offered a financial incentive. We saw that the messaging had rather large effects on people's self stated probability getting vaccinated. But then when we followed those same people to see if they followed through, they didn't. There was nothing there. So you randomized people to these interventions, financial incentives, public helth messages, an appointment scheduler, and there was no effect on actual rates of vaccinations.
