The Importance of Randomization in Pediatric Trials

Trini Vosmarkti: Thank you for the invitation to talk about pediatric trials and predominantly an adult meeting. The importance of this question really can't be overstated. This is effectively that random care that we all do in clinical practice. And so just with this trial, we've tripled the global evidence base for this high flow versus CPAP comparison. A lot of the intensivists in the UK also use high flow frequently. That likely impacted a lot of the decision-making as to how the trial went.
