How to Remove Technical Debt Faster Than Venture Back Companies

Jeff Bezos: I've found that bootstrap companies remove technical debt much faster than venture back companies and they're very intentional about it too. They'll look at the back office processes and stuff and say, like, these few things just don't make any sense or they're causing friction for our users. So let's just move to remove them. And so kind of try to keep those in balance is one of the challenges. For example, to build more of a horizontal system and then having to essentially tax their vertical P&L leadership.
