The Effects of Yo-Yo Dieting on Hormones
After reading his book, I finally understood why Yo-Yo dieting makes it harder and harder to lose weight. It basically has to do with how it affects something called the extra cellular matrix surrounding fat cells. And they become stiffer the more that you lose and regain and lose and regain. Cortisol is one of the ones people should be aware of if they have high cortisol or insulin in their system.
