The two guiding questions that I always encourage people to ask is how is your perfectionism showing up and why is it showing up? Healthy perfectionists understand that ideals are not meant to be achieved. They're just meant to inspire. Unhealthy perfectionists are like, I will have the ideal. Giselle: If you say out loud or to yourself, "I am doing this to bring myself pleasure," it might move the needle a little bit.
