Why Supplementation Is Necessary
I think it's really important to be aware of what you are consuming and not fear those foods either. I think a good example we touched on is fortified plant-based milks. A lot of people are very scared of additional extras that they see but actually these words can be beneficial things. Vitamin D is one of the nutrients that we are recommended to supplement within the winter months, 10 micrograms a day. It's very difficult to get enough Vitamin D from the diet because sources are just so limited.
