i think there's something really beautiful about different people having different rest days, because it enables us to sort of work for each other. Being part of a diasporic community and being part of a diverse community where we have different holidays and different rest days,. enables us to provide for others on their rest days, so that they can provide for us on our rest days. And i hope i'm self aware enough to recognize that what i'm describing is not something that everybody is equally able to do in their lives.
