The Bio-Psychosocial Model of Resistance Training

The average rate of gain when you look at research studies on resistance training, is one and a half to two times as fast as the rate of gain in powerlifters. I think what we're seeing here is just the environmental benefits on top of whatever's going on in the study has a much larger impact than we realize. If you can capture that pumping iron feel on a regular basis, if you can bring it, the right combination of music, workout partners, Jim culture,. motivation and having a fun, loving, passionate purpose to what you're doing, I think probably will have a larger net effectthan many other factors.
