Athlete could maintain strength and muscle size of their legs by using befar with accessory exercises like leg press knee extensions or belt squats. Once their spine has therefore healed and pain is resolved, this athlete can then resume the back squat and dead lift exercises again that they usually did. Research ase shown that b f ar with light weights does not lead to muscle damage or excessive stress on connective tissues when compared to lifting heavy weights. There's no muscle damage, or very little.
