Probiotics in Fermented Foods?

Some of the microbes, you know, I think something like 5% of the new species that appeared were from the fermented foods. There was a decrease in those species through the washout period but again, some of these people were still consuming fermented foods. And so it's hard to know whether that signal was stable colonization versus additional fermented food microbes that were running through. In our study, we think that these are probably mostly just transiently appearing and disappearing.
