If your goal is to be explosive in a sport, you probably have like, certain variations of exercises that have better applicability to the sport. That doesn't mean you completely ditch the other oneit right you. Just realize, hey, this is my main variation, and maybe i'm going a conventional dead lift a a few times a year in like, for three weeks as well. So it's not you're going to have variations that you're better at, but that doesn't means you throw the other ones out.
