How to Breathe Better and Feel Confident

When we're panicking, we tend to hyperventilate and if you don't know what that sounds like. But if you pay attention and start being mindful about your breathing, that's when breathing becomes manual is when you start thinking about it. As long as your exhale is longer than your inhale, this will get you to control your breathing and starts signaling to your body. You're calm now. And other things that you may learn in therapy are various relaxation techniques. Some people call these grounding skills, which I kind of talked about in the beginning.
