Do You Have a Competition Calendar?

Is it still appropriate to push the full lifts to any cap? I would approach it like, it depends on the athlete. It's beneficial to spend six months or three months in a really general, long term phase and then build up slower or build up faster towards the end for competition. If you don't do heavy snatches and cleaning jerks for six months, that's really no different than what they were doing before they were a weight lifter. That would probably be better suited to some boy who is moreadvanced.
