How to Respond to Stress

Stress is a physiological state. Heart rate up flooded with stress hormones like adrenaline and cortisol spike in your immune system that long term goes down. One of the biggest changes in how we think about stress is that we no longer think of stress as fight or flight or fright. When you are in a situation that your brain understands is an opportunity to change based on how life actually is right to adapt. This is kind of heightened plasticity. And we know that when you are in that heightened state of change, looking for ways to grow or change that are consistent with your values would make you proud of yourself.
