Oral Opioids Are Going to Provide a Longer Duration of Analgesia

The oral opioids are going to provide a longer, analgyic benefit. The ivy, or subcutaneous opioids, really have the slowest increase of plasma levels. They actually go away, you know, they don't last as long. So we want them to get an oral opiode, which is going to have a longer duration of analgesia and reduce those peaks and valleys of pain that they're having.
