Job performance is predicted by intelligence, like your standard icu tests. And then when you add an emotional intelligence test into that same equation to trying t predict how people do,. it doesn't aanything else beyond a personality test plus an ic test. S i cand have mix of both of them. Does anyone disagree with that? Wi not necessarily disagree but a emotional intelligence. At its core is the idea that there is an ability that involves understanding and managing your own and other people's emotions. That is very much a true dimension of individual differences. Even if it doesn't predict children's diffe es in school performance or in employment or in occupational success.
