A lot of times when people think of hilly courses, they dread the uphill section. But over the course of a race, it's the eccentric contractions that you get from running downhill that's likely going to make your quads really sore and give you a little bit of some wobbly legs cotting near the end of a longer race if you're not adequately prepared for it. So finding ways to get ecentric contraction into your routine without actualy beng able to do that sustained downhill running will give you some of that. strength work is another focus. And this is actually where i would maybe consider the weighted best. I think you want to be careful with that sort
