Do You Need to Do Max Lifts?

You don't need to do max lifts ever now. You can get every bit the stimulus for adaptation through heavies as you can through maxes. Maxes are a test. How often do you go out and run one mile as fast as you possibly can? And sometimes you fail. So why are we doing that with our, it just makes no sense. We don鈥檛 need to be doing that. Is implicit in the idea of finding a max, the idea that you've, in order to truly have found it, you must have failed.
