I think it is really unfortunate that we put so much emphasis on, you know, you've got to get into this one school. And the truth is there are lots of fantastic schools. If you do well at any of a number of schools, you're in all likelihood going to do really well later on. Negative emotions and small doses help us solve all sorts of problems. There's research which shows that experiencing a moderate level of anxiety is actually good for you and enhances performance. We don't want to get rid of pressure and an aspirational goals. But I think we want to stop magnifying them to the point where they they color everything we do"
