The Importance of Mindfulness Meditation
CBT and even mindfulness meditation type practices can be useful. Some people have internal chatter dialed up to 11 in a way that other people don't. It doesn't change the chatter, but it does give you a little bit of a buffer from it. And what my personal experience in meditation is that you make friends with the monkey mind.
