Is Regular Exercise Helping the Elderly?
Regular exercise seems to enhance well-being. But are there long term effects? Like will they prevent any kind of mental problems? Yeah. There's a study that I think is really, really cool and was published a few years ago by Schoenfeld. He found in animals that were sedentary, he found an increase in the expression of something known as immediate early genes.
