What Are Road Maps?

A road map is a document that shows what the company or product is doing now. Road maps are often fairly detailed in the short term, but become more vague over the long term because priorities can change. Just knowing you want to work on something at a high level is sufficient. The best road maps are ones where company has set goals to achieve and then planned projects that will help it achieve those goals.
