Corning Glass: A Bad Business
In the 1950s, uh corning which makes glass went to the head of research at the committee His name is will armistead and he goes glass breaks Why don't you fix that? You know, that sounds douchey, but it's a good point So there are many ways to kind of make glass quote quote stronger. But warning ended up creating a very strong glass They called the glass chemical yeah chemical so in the 50s and 60s they tried to take this really strong glass to market Uh a couple places I went to they tried to put it on phone blues phone booster thing Think about the tamma phone booth.
