i don't think we've hit quite enough on the importance of letting an organization sometimes feel some pain. There's like, protecting the team from that pain and there's also ting the organization from pain. People wonder why you're getting c plus grades as a product manager and like bplus grades as a manager when you know you're an a plus caliber manager. The consequences are severe. You get judged and you get graded, and all they do is look at the report card and they go, this person has straight seas on that report card. And you're like, i was doing five jobs. You just don't get credit.
