Sally Kohn: I love this discussion because for a brief time during the COVID pandemic, I had to help my wife out in her elementary school. So I think boredom is something that we have kind of replaced with scrolling on our phones. Boredom is where creativity comes; it's an opportunity often to get really creative and figure out what you're excited about. We don't know how to sort of be still and sort of center ourselves," she says. "It's so uncomfortable when they're bored because they get so whiny"
