The Running Haiku

The running haiku goes something like this: run a lot of miles, some faster than your race pace, rest once in a while. So the guy that did intervals twice a day every day, he didn't do that, right? Or did he? Well, he rests once in awhile. He ran, I mean, when you total up the total volume of his training, it was quite a bit. Oh, they did sessions of 200s and 400s, multiple, multiple sessions of 20, 30, 40. And if you look at that, that's all you're gonna have to take me through that again. That's five syllables. Now running haiku.
