There's a couple of reasons that you might be doing this. If you're trying to rehydrate quite rapidly. Having food along with that fluid can help to kind of absorb and retain that fluid or some sodium electrolytes. Not absolutely essential, but it can help just preventing your P some of that fluid out. So I guess the reason that you go for you're replacing more than what you lost is twofold.
