There is a lot of inertia in the eroic system, which is one reason why i'm constantly saying consistency. Once you get consistent, even when you take some time off, do like a work trip or something, you're in a good place when you come back. And so the hard part becomes, ok, how do we isolate variables that are working on multi year time scales in study or training theory? A lot of people are unable to see this as much as it should be.
