The Role of Plyometrics in Strength Training
In Peter Malair's his course, he was talking about getting a mechanical strength benefit in something like patellar tendon. He said that when you do pyometric activities, you don't have to add strength to a tendon. What you want is a stiffer spring. It's heavy, slow resistance and isometrics will both increase the strength of the mechanical stiffness of the spring of the tendon. And plyometrics don't.
