The Railroad Industry: A Central Hub of Our Economy

The railroad industry is a central hub of our entire economy, huge industry from what I can tell the companies that operated it are very profitable. They have kind of like a locked in customer base and not kind of like cable companies where, you know, it's probably pretty expensive to let to lay down new rail lines. So there's like a built in almost monopoly, I'm guessing in certain areas and stuff like that. And yeah, just a very, very different from airlines, by the way, airlines.
