How to Overcome Fears

When you defeat a fear, the thing that you were afraid of becomes a great source of joy. I love going up on heights. There's about five forms of interpersonal exposure for people, say with shyness. And so that would be a simple example of confronting a fear. It really does have a mood elevating effect. But you have to have the courage to experience that anxiety until the fear disappears. Sometimes it'll disappear quickly just in a matter of moments. sometimes, as in my case, you have to endure it for a period of time.
