The First Time You Have to Cooperate

The last level, which is called braid, is the first time you have to cooperate because you have to rely on the princess at certain portions in order to proceed. That image is a reference to a passage from the New Testament. It's embodied by the literal gameplay that you're living through. The game wouldn't work if the score wasn't very like lonely feeling. So it needed that. And oh, also I didn't want to get through the whole episode without mentioning that the score is incredibly emotionally evocative.
