Cortland used to work as a copier salesman in San Francisco. He now runs his own company called Cortland, which helps people go after big companies and sell their products remotely. The business model is very business specific so you have to know your customers well before they even come into contact with each other. It's difficult to repeat consistently but at the same time being the founder and selling your own stuff it's kind of fulfilling in another way when it's just not for everybody.
