The sensations that seem to be a self are still occurring. It's the degree to which there's much more clarity about them that actually revealed they never were what previously I thought they were. And so it's not that the sensations that make up a sense of self are gone. But the fundamental misperception of them actually being the self that they in relative terms appear to be has stopped.
