The Ground Engineer - Is the Code in the Flight Reporting Manual?
The flight engineer consulted the flight reporting manual to make sure he used the right terminology and the fault code. It's not known if the ground engineer passed this information on the new crew. The technical log that the previous flight engineer had worked on was destroyed in the crash. However, therere still logs on the ground, and other there there should be a paper trail for them to followo so they don't know what happened.
