The Importance of Making Meaning Around Four Bits of Information

Cognitive load theory for a coach is that you can't give people loads and loads of novel information if you want them to focus on what's important in an environment. Jamie coming to you surely as a rugby coach this must mean something to you as a coach from session design and coach behavior perspective yeah absolutely does. I'm thinking back to my degree in psychology Atkinson and Shiffrin Shiffrin I believe we can hold about seven bits of information chunks of information in our mind but this idea of making meaning around four bits  is quite important, he says.
