The Role of Unilateral Training in Fitness

You just have to be mindful that you'll probably have to do more reps and sets, knowing that most people cannot do double or more the same weights of unilateral training or bilateral training in their unilateral training. What the research will tell us is that somebody that spends more time in unilateral activities should bias the resistance training towards unilateral strengthening but not to neglect bilateral training as well. We can still achieve those nice metabolic and endocrine effects, often with less reps and sets which makes it more time efficient.
