I think a lot of it comes down to how do we enter into those situations. Like I've got a partner who's an incredibly, she's one of the warmest, kindest people I've ever known. She ends up feeling like she has to be performative. So in those cases, it's draining for her. But when it emerges naturally for her, it's energizing. All of that sounds very familiar to me.
