I've definitely come across sentiment at times, particularly in Silicon Valley of this, a little bit of a snuffing of agile, right? I think there's sort of certainly practices like sperm, for example, have sort of have somewhat tarnished their brand. And as a result, I think agile and maybe even agile coaching has been kind of thrown into the same bucket. So it's more about getting people unstuck. But through that process, especially in that initial rollout of talking about agility and declaring that we want to pursue this, there would be people that I would hear through the grapevine that would be vastly against it.
Brent Strange, Director of Engineering Excellence at GoDaddy, has a unique perspective on the role of an internal enablement team because he focuses more on the people and processes instead of tooling. Here he shares his perspective on org structure, as well as the role of agile coaches and his response to some of the negative views that exist towards Agile.
