The Decentralization of US Democracy
There seems to be a decentralization move back towards the states in terms of power from the federal to the states. Do you see that as something that's kind of a feature rather than a bug in the US system? And I think there is also something about the power of different states. When California says, I want cars sold in California to have certain mileage, wirements, or exhaust requirements, well, that almost sets the stage for the rest of the country.
