The Importance of Transparency in Health Care

I think there's yet a few things can have struck me, so much of the conversation about transparency is focused on price. And what we see, even among actually quite well educated consumers, much less the average consumer, is that health care consumers do not understand the sometimes inverse correlation between price and quality in health care. What they're really looking for now is a quality experience that makes sense to them,. Not like a patient whose being managed. That doesn't feel like they got kicked when they're down.
