What Happened to the Pilots?
Both the pilots actually survived this incident. They became a airlines pilots after the merger in 20 13. That was 28 years ago, they might have retired by now. Even if an air tra controller didn't tell a pilot the onboard systems in the onboard radar would alert about these types of problems to avoid ight.
