How to Build Trust and Stickiness With Your Competitors
Brandon Rana: The first thing I do when I smell somebody might be interested is invite them to slack. If my competition is on an email cadence and I'm on a slack cadence, I feel good about who's going to win that deal. Most of the biggest deals up close have unfortunately come down to the last hour of the year or the quarter. "I've found there's no better way to build trust than being able to admit when you don't have the answer," he says.
